Accessibility Statement

Our approach
We want this website to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, or other assistive technology. We build this site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We do not claim the site is fully compliant or certified. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we keep fixing issues as we find them.
What we have done
- A visible focus outline on every link, button, and form field.
- A skip-to-content link for keyboard users on every page, so you can bypass the navigation.
- Labels tied to every form field, not just placeholder text.
- Descriptive alt text on images, and decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
- One heading level per page, in order, so the page structure makes sense read aloud.
- Reduced motion for visitors who set that preference in their operating system.
- A focus trap and Escape-to-close on our mobile menu, with focus returning to the menu button when it closes.
- Form errors that are tied to their field and announced to screen readers, not shown by color alone.
Known gaps
We disclose the gaps below instead of hiding them.
- Embedded map. The map on our Contact page and our advertising landing page is built and styled by Google. Its appearance and behavior are outside our control.
- Menu item names. Many of our dish names are in Spanish (for example, "Camarones a la Diabla"). We have not tagged every individual dish name for screen-reader pronunciation, since the rest of the site is in English. We have tagged standalone Spanish phrases and greetings so they're announced correctly.
- Spanish coverage. This site is in English only. We plan to consider a Spanish version of the site in the future.
